The fundraising team are looking for adventurous volunteers to cycle from London to Paris, connecting two of the world's most chic cities on one of the best cycling routes in Europe. Cycling through beautiful English villages and into stunning rural France, you will pass historical landmarks and famous battlefields from World War I until you reach Paris; undoubtedly one of the most magical places on earth.

2) White Water Rafting!

Fancy making a splash for charity!
Join LOROS for an adrenalin filled White Water Rafting experience. Compete to win against other teams on the Holme Pierrepont course in Nottingham. Bring your friends and family along to watch and cheer you on! If you're looking for adventure then this might just be the excitement you are looking for!
It will not cost the earth at only £125 per person for a team of 8 - that's £1,000 per raft! Individuals are welcome to join a team and make new friends. Any sponsorship above this will go straight to LOROS.

3) Parachute Jump!
Date: Ongoing throughout 2009 & 2010

Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush of a tandem skydive whilst raising money for LOROS!!! You'll experience the ultimate thrill of free falling at 120 mph after jumping from an aircraft. Then enjoy a long high-performance canopy ride with your trained instructor till you land back on two feet. Raise a minimum amount of £400 (£340 plus £60 deposit) for you to jump for free, and in turn LOROS will receive a minimum donation of at least £170. In addition to this, every extra £1 that you raise over the minimum comes straight to LOROS. Availability is ongoing throughout the year both mid-week and weekends.
One Big Skydive for LOROS was extremely popular in 2009 and we will again book another One Big Skydive event in 2010 for the LOROS 25th Anniversary: 16th May 2010.
