Whilst LOROS does receive statutory financial support, the current services and level of care just could not be provided without the generosity and ongoing support of the local community. It costs LOROS £7 million each year to provide its services which are funded by the generous support of the local community, businesses and a grant from the NHS. All the services are free to patients and their families and we are proud that 90% of all donations are spent on patient care.

The LOROS Fundraising Department works closely to involve itself in supporting public events organised on behalf of LOROS. The task of raising this vital income becomes increasingly demanding in a very competitive environment, this is why the emphasis in the department is on the FUN.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

 There are many ways to raise much needed funds for the Hospice, from a sponsored walk to a Champagne Ball. Whatever the event, your support will be appreciated. We can help you and give you support in organising your event, whatever it is....
