Overview:
Communication is an essential skill for all involved in the provision of care and particularly so when caring for those facing the end of their lives. This three day interactive workshop uses role-play and actors giving participants the opportunity to address individual areas of concern.
The Advanced Communication Skills Course is Suitable for:
• Bands 5 and 6 (or equivalent)
• Community health and social care
• Marie Curie
• Hospice at home
• District nurses
• Care homes
• Acute sector
• Social workers
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Fees & funding
Free to health and social care staff working across Leicestershire County PCT. Costs for those out side the funding remit: £400.00 non accredited & £700.00 accredited.
